Note: The current set of 10 is selected out of 48 shells of various quality levels. These are the best of the good shells in that lot.
This form seems to be the real Strombus taeniatus. Mostly known from Sulawesi, Indonesia. I have no idea what to make of the species as a whole, so I will just follow the latest publication.
